Connecting Your ShopDot Pet Storefront to Your Website

If you already have a website for your pet business and want your clients to shop directly from your ShopDot Pet storefront, you have a couple of easy integration options. Here's how to make it happen:

Option 1: Use a Custom Subdomain

Create a dedicated shopping link like store.yourwebsite.com and point it to your ShopDot Pet storefront.

Steps:

1. Go to your domain provider (like GoDaddy, Squarespace, etc.) and create a subdomain (e.g., store.yourwebsite.com ).
2. In your ShopDot account, use the Custom Domain feature to link that subdomain to your ShopDot store.
3. On your main website, update your navigation menu or “Store” button to link directly to the new subdomain.

Option 2: Add a Direct Link to Your ShopDot Store

If you don’t want to set up a subdomain, you can simply link to your ShopDot Pet store (e.g., yourbrand.myshopdot.com ) from your website.

Steps:

• Add a “Shop” or “Store” tab in your main menu.
• Link that button to your ShopDot URL.
• That’s it! Shoppers will be directed to your storefront in one click.
