1. How do I re-sync product from my eCommerce store?

Important Notes:
1. Any new products added to the ShopDot sales channel and in Published status in Shopify will automatically sync through to ShopDot.
2. Any updates to your product listings in your eCommerce store will not automatically sync through to ShopDot. The only information that is automatically updated is the Stock level.Please make sure to re-sync
3. Any updates that you previously made to your ShopDot products listings content will be overwritten when you re-sync the product with your eCommerce store.
4. Any changes made to product listings in ShopDot will not automatically carry over to your Shopify store.

If you have changes to your Shopify product listings such as product details, photos, and MSRP price, you need to manually sync those changes to ShopDot.


To update product listing content from your Shopify store:

  • Individual Product:
    • You can click on the Product Details and click Sync Product from Shopify, WooCommerce or Magento.
  • Bulk:
    • Within the Products Table in the Products tab, select the products you wish to re-sync. click Product from Shopify, WooCommerce or Magento.

2. How do I organize my Shopify products?


Now that you have connected your Shopify store to ShopDot, the next step is to add your Shopify products to ShopDot.

Here are the steps to add your Shopify products to ShopDot:


  1. Log in to your Shopify store that is connected to your ShopDot.

  1. By default, when you initially integrate your Shopify store with ShopDot, all of your Published products in Shopify are automatically added to the ShopDot sales channel. If you don't want a product to sync to ShopDot, you should remove it from the ShopDot sales channel.

  1. To remove a product from the ShopDot sales channel within Shopify, go to your Shopify store and remove the products from the ShopDot sales channel.

Important Notes:

  • Any product that is Published and added to the ShopDot sales channel will automatically sync to ShopDot by default.
  • Before you sync products from your Shopify store to ShopDot, make sure you remove products you do NOT want in ShopDot from the ShopDot sales channel in Shopify.
  • Inventory will automatically sync in real time.
  • If the Shopify product listing is deleted from the ShopDot sales channel, the product listing will immediately unpublished within ShopDot.
  • After a product is imported from Shopify to ShopDot, any changes to the Shopify product listing will NOT automatically update in ShopDot. If you edit the product listing in Shopify and want that reflected in ShopDot, you can re-sync the product content.

3. How do I organize my WooCommerce products?


Now that you have connected your WooCommerce store to ShopDot, the next step is to add your WooCommerce products to ShopDot.


Here are the steps to add your WooCommerce products to ShopDot:



  1. Log in to your WooCommerce store that is connected to your ShopDot.

  1. By default, when you initially integrate your WooCommerce store with ShopDot, all of your publish products in WooCommerce are automatically added to the ShopDot.
    1. If you don't want a product to sync to ShopDot, you must delete or disconnect it in the Products tab. Refer to How to Delete my Products in Bulk to delete products.

  1. Next, publish your products, so Sellers can start publishing your products to their online storefront.

Important Notes:

  • Any product that is published in your WooCommerce store and will appear in the Products tab
  • If you have a lot of products in your WooCommerce store, be selective about which products you want in your ShopDot portal available for Sellers.
  • Inventory will automatically sync in real time.
  • If the WooCommerce product listing is deleted, archived or removed in your WooCommerce store, the product listing will immediately unpublish within ShopDot.
  • After a product is imported from WooCommerce to ShopDot, any changes to the WooCommerce product listing will NOT automatically update in ShopDot. If you edit the product listing in WooCommerce and want that reflected in ShopDot, you can re-sync the product content.
