Guide to Getting Started

Now that you have signed up and verified your email address, there are a few steps that we'll walk you through.

1. Configure your Mandatory Settings

• Store Settings - Click here to learn more about this section.
• Getting Paid- Click here to learn more about this section.

As you complete each mandatory setting, it will be marked as complete. Once all steps are completed, you will be able to personalize your online storefront.

2. Personalize your ShopDot Storefront

In the My Store tab, you'll be able to personalize your online storefront by including the following informaton

• Logo
• Description of your business
• Links back your website or social media

3. Create your Collections

Collections allow you to group products together to make it easier for customers to shop.

• Add/Edit Collections by clicking on the Add/Edit Collection button.
• Change the order of how the Collection appear by clicking on the grid next to the Collection name and dragging it where you want it.

4. Adding Products to your Collection

Once you have created your Collections, there are two ways to add products.

Option 1: Under My Store, click on a Collection and click on the Add Product tile

• The Select Product box will come up and you'll be able to do the following:
  • Search by products
  • Search by Brand
  • Search by Product category

• Sort by: By default, newest products added to ShopDot are sorted first but you'll be able to Sort by:
  • Newest Products
  • Price
  • Product Name

• Once you've found products you want to sell, just click the + Add Product button to add the product to your collection

• Any products added to a Collection will automatically appear in the your Shop All Tab

Option 2: You can also add products from the Brands tab.

• Got to the Brands Tab
• Use the filters on the left hand side to find brands or search on the search bar above
• Click into a brand and you'll see all of their products
• Click on + Add to Collection and select which Collection you want to add that product to and then click Save Changes.

5. View Your Store

On the upper right corner of your admin portal is a View Store button, you'll be able to see your online storefront.
