Preferences


Here are the steps in updating the Preferences.


  1. Click on Settings from the account dropdown menu.
  2. Click on Preferences.
  3. Fill in the required fields.

Stock Level

The stock level allows you to control how much of your Shopify inventory is available on ShopDot.


Stock Level Percentage

Set a percentage of the inventory in your Shopify store that will be published and sold in ShopDot.


For example, if the Shopify inventory of a product is 100 and you enter 70% as the stock level percentage, then the ShopDot inventory that is available to retail partners in ShopDot will be 70.

Default Commission


Default Commission Percentage

Set a default commission percentage for all retail partners who publish your products onto their storefront.

This default commission percentage will be applied to all retail partners , however, you can go into a retail partner's profile and set a specific commission.

Default Customer Discount Percentage

Set a default discount percentage to all retail partners' customers when they buy your products.


If you set a default customer discount, all customers who buy off a ShopDot online storefront will get a discount. However, you can go into a retail partner's profile and set a specific discount.

Shipping Location

Pre-set a flat shipping fee for all orders.

The settings on shipping allows you configure your domestic shipping rates. International shipping is not yet supported within ShopDot.


Enter your shipping address in this section. If you ship from multiple locations, just put your main shipping hub. This is just informational to retailers.

State Select the state mandatory
City Enter the city for the selected state mandatory
ZIP Enter the ZIP code mandatory

Flat Shipping Rate

Within ShopDot, you have the ability to charge customers a flat rate shipping on orders.

The customer will be charged the Shipping fee + tax + MSRP of the products.

TIP: If you have heavier items that are more expensive to ship you can always increase the cost for that product to accommodate the additional shipping cost.
Shipping Fee This is the shipping fee to ship the products within an order.

Note - if you do not want to charge customers shipping - you can make this $0


Default Days to Fulfill

The default days to fulfill is the approximate number of days it takes to fulfill an order. If you have products that varying days to fulfill, you can always edit that information in Products.

Select the number of business days to process and ship the product


NOTE: You can always edit the days to fulfill on the product level.

Return and Refund Policy

The return and refund policy shows up on your brand profile to inform retailers on how they should handle returns or refund of your products.

  • No returns or refunds
  • Returns and refunds are accepted on a case-by-case basis
