How does my brand integrate with the ShopDot platform?
There are several ways a brand supplier can integrate their product listings into ShopDot.
- Shopify integration. You can refer to this guide on how to integrate ShopDot with your Shopify.
- WooCommerce - You can refer to this guide on how to integrate ShopDot with your WooCommerce Store.
- CSV file upload. We'll provide you with a template and you can manually upload your products into ShopDot
What are the product photography guidelines?
JPEG or PNG with a max file size is 5MB per image.
How do I see assign a commission for my products?
Commission is assigned on a product basis.
Within Products, you must set your default commission for each product.
- Go to the Product tab.
- Click into a product.
- In Commission, enter the new commission percentage (percentage of the sales price paid to Sellers)
You can edit the commission percentage for different products at anytime.
Do I have to offer drop-shipping?
Yes, you will need to offer drop-shipping capabilities to your Sellers . Through ShopDot, your Sellers can build a storefront and publish your product listings onto their page. Sellers' customer can order product directly on their shoppable page and the order will be routed back to you to ship to the end customer.
Can I control which products specific Sellers can view?
Yes, you are able to choose the specific items you allow a sellers to view. Go here for more details on managing your sellers .
Can I invite a Sellers to join that doesn’t already carry my brand?
Yes, you can invite as many Sellers as you want to join. You will need to send them a link (http://app.shopdotapp.com/login) to join so they can set up an account and storefront. Once a Seller is set up they are free to add all products you have listed in your ShopDot catalog.
What is the process for payments?
ShopDot will handle all payment processing on a Sellers shoppable page. Once the supplier confirms shipping with the tracking number, ShopDot will payout brand suppliers and Sellers and will charge afee for all payouts.
Who is responsible for shipping & handling fees?
The brand supplier is in charge of setting a shipping fee.
If the customer has an issue with an order who is responsible for resolving?
The customer will reach out the brand supplier directly for any returns, exchanges or customer service inquiries. We include the brand supplier's support email in order confirmations and shipping updates.
Who is responsible for returns?
Returns are handled between the brand supplier and the customer.
