How do I manage my retailers?


Within the ShopDot platform, you have complete control over the distribution of your products.


All ShopDot retailer partners can publish your Active products onto their online storefront. This means that their customers to purchase your products off of ShopDot online storefronts.


Note: You will receive an email when a retail partner publishes their first product of yours onto their storefront.


View your Retailers

  • Go to the Retailers tab.
  • In this tab you can see all retailers that have published your products onto their storefront.
  • When you click into their profile, you can see:
    • About the Retailer
    • ShopDot online storefront URL
    • Email Address
    • Business Type
    • Commission Percentage
    • Customer Discount
    • Products they have published to their storefront.

Decline a Retailer

You have the option to decline a retail partner from publishing your products onto their storefront

  • Go to the Retailers tab.
  • Click into their profile.
  • Click on Decline on the top right corner.

Assigning a Commission for a Retail Partner

Within Preferences, you must set your default commission for all retail partners. However, you can also change the commission for specific retail partners within their profile

  • Go to the Retailers tab.
  • Click into their profile.
  • In Set Commission & Customer Discount, enter the new commission percentage.
  • Click update.

Assigning a Customer Discount for a Retail Partner

You can give your retail partners' customers discounts on your products. Within Preferences, you can set a default customer discount (not required) to all retail partners or you can give specific retail partners a discount.

  • Go to the Retailers tab.
  • Click into their profile.
  • In Set Commission & Customer Discount, set a customer discount percentage
  • Select a start and end date for the discount.
  • Click update.

Assigning a Commission and Discount in Bulk

You can also assign commission and discounts in bulk to retailers.

  • Go to the Retailers tab.
  • Select the retailers you want to manage by either clicking on the upper checkbox from the table, or click on Select all items from the dropdown menu on the upper checkbox.
  • Options for bulk actions will be displayed under Choose Action:
    • Update Commission
    • Update Customer Discount
